I just saw a commercial so bizarre that it will make a perfect subject for another Tear. Have you secretly longed to visit the exotic land of intrigue and mystery that is Khazakstan? It would necessarily have to be a secret longing because if any of your friends and relatives ever knew of such a secret they would undoubtedly motivate for your immediate commitment to a mental institute. What could attract an American to visit Khazakstan? Maybe it could be the mystery inherent in wondering whether or not you might survive a trip to a nation identified as the new Jihadist training ground and stronghold. Maybe it could be the intriguing question as to whether or not you might wind up being beheaded as an infidel spy. Maybe you are looking for excitement as you search for new and hidden Al Queda training camps. Maybe you search for the treasures of human rights in a land where they are unheard of. Maybe you wish to dispel the erroneous rumors of the barbaric treatment of women in this far off land.
Whatever the apparent attraction, I am certain I know what the true reason for tourism, by Americans, to Khazakstan is: EXTREME STUPIDITY.
